Puppy Nest Cam

Our puppy nest cam is the perfect way to keep an eye on your new furry friend as they grow and develop in their first few weeks of life. You can watch them play, sleep, and interact with their littermates, and get a sense of their personality and temperament.

The puppy nest cam is located in our climate-controlled nursery, where our puppies are kept warm and comfortable. The nursery is also equipped with cameras that provide 24/7 live footage of the puppies, so you can check in on them whenever you want.

We know that choosing a puppy is a big decision, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get to know your new puppy before they come home with you. The puppy nest cam is a great way to do that, and it's also a lot of fun!

If the nest cam feed is not showing properly click the button below and follow the link...

I always promised myself a dog when I retired, but I was completely inexperienced, and really had no clue what to expect. So I count myself as being so incredibly lucky to have met Debbie & Tony, as I’d never even heard of the Australian Labradoodle. But after speaking to them & meeting their dogs, I felt I was in such safe hands so I signed up & waited for my new pup.

What a gorgeous breed the Australian Labradoodle is in both looks & temperament. Debbie & Tony couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful both at deciding which pup would be best suited to me, advice on how I should prepare for her arrival & ongoing help even two years down the line!
As a tiny pup she grew up in their house (lots of breeders say they do this, but the pups are often in an outside shed). She arrived with me at 8 weeks old as a confident well rounded little girl. She was happy with adults, children, other dogs both big & small, the car, as well as all the household noises & smells. As an added bonus, she was practically house trained.
She’s gone on to become so important in my life. She keeps me fit and I’ve met so many people through walking her. Almost everyone comments on what a lovely dog she is & even though I’m a novice, she’s so quick to learn that she has the best recall of all the dogs in the park.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Southdown Labradoodles. They are really caring breeders who love their dogs and will go the extra mile to make sure every pup gets the very best start in life.

New Puppy Parent

Having enjoyed some wonderful times with our   previous standard Labradoodle, we knew that the Australian Labradoodle breed was for us.

After a great amount of searching we found Southdowns Australian  Labradoodles. Debbie was both friendly and professional. She was happy to answer any questions we had and we found the puppy information pack really useful.

Debbie kept us informed throughout Otties pregnancy. Being able to watch Ottie and the puppies over the webcast was amazing and helped us feel connected to the puppies. We were able to see what a lovely mum Ottie was.

Debbie's care of the puppies including making sure they all had the necessary  health checks was excellent. The puppies were beautiful and well socialised.

Our puppy has a very good temperament, well adjusted although very mischievous. She has bought a lot of joy to our lives and we can't thank Debbie enough.

If you are looking for an ethical trustworthy breeder who places the welfare of her dogs and puppies above all else then you would do no better than Debbie. We would definitely recommend her

New Puppy Owner

Adding an Australian Labradoodle to our family is the best decision we have made and we couldn't imagine our lives without our fur baby!  As soon as we met Debbie and Tony, it was obvious that they are responsible breeders and are passionate about what they do.  They took time to answer all of our questions and as first-time dog owners with young children there were lots!!

We were invited to meet them and their dogs when the pups were four weeks old; following this we visited regularly and were always made to feel welcome.  We were able to view the puppies via puppy cam at any time and it was lovely to see them grow and develop. Debbie and Tony provided us with expert advice and are clearly very knowledgeable about the breed.

We have stayed in touch with Debbie and Tony and meet regularly for dog walks.  They have always been on hand with advice and to answer any questions - I recommend them to everyone.

My parents fell in love with our pup and 14 months later, brought home her brother - it's lovely to watch them grow up together, they bring so much fun and laughter to our family.  If you're looking for an Australian Labradoodle, contact South Downs Australian Labradoodles; you won't regret it!!

Are you ready to embark on your Puppy Journey..?

Agility

I am a lover of agility and have been training and attending shows for 4 years. Agility is something that you have to commit to. Our dogs start learning the basic commands from an early age but cannot compete or do the equipment until their bones are fully developed and the pup has stopped growing. They are not allowed to compete at Kennel Club shows until they are at least 16 months old. The dogs train every week and look forward to their class and get very excited.

Therapy Dogs

Many Australian Labradoodles are trained as therapy dogs. They are very good at providing comfort for people in sickness and difficult times in their lives. Therapy dogs can be taken into establishments to give comfort, distraction and stimulation. Isaac has visited care homes and is part of the kennel club bark and read scheme and is just about to embark on a new visit to the local police stations to give empathy to officers after a difficult day.

Guardian Families

South Downs Australian Labradoodles are often looking for guardian families for their breeding girls.  All our girls live in family homes as the family pet. All guardians would need to live within 10 miles of Eastbourne, If you would like further information please contact us via the contact button below .

Beyond Breeding

Testimonials

Are Labradoodles hypoallergenic?

The authentic Australian Labradoodle is the result of six or more successive generations of careful breeding. The result is a healthy, well-tempered dog with a non-shedding allergy-friendly coat.

Allergy-friendly means that 95% of people with asthma and/or allergies will not have reactions to the dander or the coat of the Australian Labradoodle. The small population of people that have allergies to Australian Labradoodles are most likely allergic to dog saliva. They will generally react to any breed of dog, shedding or not.

In essence Australian Labradoodles are classed as hypoallergenic, but this cannot be guaranteed.

To help you further with this important consideration - South Downs Australian Labradoodles are happy for prospective owners to visit and meet our dogs and have lots of cuddles to see if there is any reaction forthcoming before embarking on a puppy journey...

Please do not hesitate to contact me to make arrangements for puppy cuddles or if you have any further questions regarding the suitability of the breed.

Ottie and Bobbie's Litter
